The Monitoring Service

Day or night - the Monitoring Service keeps an "eyeontheplace" for you.  This sophisticated, state-of-the-art service provides true 24-hour monitoring for your property - and it's only available from eyeontheplace.com:

Control your camera remotely via web or SMS!

Monitoring can be turned on and off at any time through your password-protected web pages, or by text message from your mobile phone, using your unique PIN number.

Email alerts

As soon as movement is detected, eyeontheplace.com sends an automated email to the addresses you have specified.

SMS text message alerts

Again, on movement detection, eyeontheplace.com sends an automated SMS to the mobile phone numbers you have specified.  Up to 200 text messages per year can be sent within the standard package, and additional credits can be bought very reasonably.

Recorded images sent automatically to your private web space

We will configure your camera so that following detection of movement, the monitoring service will collect images from the camera and store them securely in your private web space, which we provide as part of the service.  As soon as you receive an email or text, you can log into your web pages and see the images of the incident that caused the trigger.  From here you can also manage your stored images - perhaps choosing to save a few to your local PC, or deleting unwanted ones.  Up to 2000 images per camera can be stored here at any given time under the standard package - if you need more space for your images, this can be rented at very reasonable rates.

Recorded images sent as email attachments

If you prefer, as an alternative to sending images to your eyeontheplace.com web space, we can send the triggered images to you as they happen, in a series of emails.  This means that the images may take a few moments longer to reach you, but once they do so, you have then all on your local PC to control as you wish.

Live access via web and mobile phone

As long as you subscribe to the monitoring service, you get your own private web pages providing secure live access to your cameras via the internet and compatible mobile phones:
